"Memento Mori" is an animated short film by artist Derek Jasse that portrays the social and psychological dynamics of a humanity facing the imminent apocalypse, blending both narrative and documentary elements. The film explores a society confronted with the ultimate risk: the end of the world in just 24 hours.

What would you do if the world were to end tomorrow? The characters in this film must answer this very question, confronting fundamental fears and desires of human existence.

I had the great pleasure of illustrating most of the backgrounds for this film and also contributing as an art director. It was an incredibly enriching creative collaboration, in which we crafted a visual world that uniquely captures the atmosphere and emotions of the story.
